Hard Candy Wish For A Kiss Review (HOLIDAY 2015)

16 December 2015

Spoiler alert; this set f*****g sucks. I'm actually offended that Hard Candy was able to waste my $4.88, what a joke. I know, I know, language and all that. But seriously, this gift set is literally trash, and that's where these glosses are going after this bloody review. Okay, okay, I'm never this negative about these things, ever. But this is a special occasion. So let's talk about brands cheaping the crap out on their holiday sets. Because what the actual hell is this shit, Hard Candy??

FTC DISCLAIMER: I, clearly, purchased this set with my own money. My thoughts and opinions are all my own. I'm not sponsored, nor affiliated with Hard Candy, and I receive no compensation for this review. Obviously. If I HAD gotten this for free, I would have honestly been even MORE offended that they actually wanted to waste my time.

Hard Candy All Glossed Up Metallics REVIEW

02 October 2014

Hard Candy has been on the ball with some great new product releases, such as their new eyeshadow palettes and their first brow product EVER (!!) but they've also expanded some of their permanent ranges, and the All Glossed Up Hydrating Balm Stains are one of those lines.

I LOVE chubby lip pencils, okay. I own a ton, from almost every brand. I've tried the regular All Glossed Up pencils before and they're okay. They weren't horrible, they weren't the best. They were just...middle of the road. When I saw they had some new shades, at first I was going to completely pass, because these are a "metallic" finish, and normally I'm not into that. However, I'm a sucker.

Contouring & Highlighting 101 - Favorite Highlighters

06 August 2012

I AM ON A BLOGGING ROLL RIGHT NOW. And it feels so good. I think sometimes you just need breaks...or in my case a hibernation cycle or something. Anyway, I'm getting back into the game. This is a part of my little mini series on contouring and highlighting and this post is on the highlighting products that I like.

It ranges from all different price ranges and a lot of these products are not actually meant to be highlighters but I use them as such anyway. I didn't swatch any of the products in any of these "favorite" posts because, well, I'm lazy and also these are cheek products and not eye shadows and a super sheer swatch does not necessarily mean the product would be sheer when applied to your face! That, and, uh, I'm lazy. Some of these products might have reviews, and if they do, I will link to them.

This is picture-heavy and will still be pretty long, so let's get this show on the road!

Hard Candy Stay In Line Mechanical Pencil in Santorini (REVIEW)

28 August 2011

Okay, so I've definitely blathered on about my love of mascaras and eyeliners w/ lash growth serum (here and here for two examples) and I'm continuing the sparse lash girl love w/ a really kick ass product. I'm also pretty sure that if you've been here before, you know I love color. And if you haven't been here before? Well, I bloody well love color (and, no, I am, sadly, not British, but I have a bad tendency to curse like a sailor and I'm hoping 'bloody' is a bit less offensive as busting out the f-word...if it IS offensive and annoying, please comment and chew me out! I don't want to go around offending and upsetting people!) And let me just say...Oh, well, before I go and spoil the whole review, let me jump and then you can continue reading!

Hard Candy Glossaholic Lipgloss Review

11 August 2011

Another Hard Candy review! This time, it's on some sweet frickin' lipglosses - the Glossaholic glosses. These are really similar in style to the MAC Wonder Woman collection; they're the same size and the wands are the same. These glosses come in six different shades. There are also two special glosses that are supposed to help either relax you or wake you up, but I'm going to review those separately. You can find that review here.

These glosses can be found at Walmart and they're $5 each. I often find that Hard Candy products tend to be hit or miss for me. I either love the products to death or I think they're awful. But these glosses are definitely on my love list. In fact, I've gone through one entirely because I love them that much.

So let's continue!

Hard Candy Glossaholic Chill Out and Rise & Shine Review

This is going to be another Hard Candy review on the Glossaholic Sequin Saturated Shine lip glosses, but on two specific glosses. I already have a review on some of the colorful glosses that you can find here. These are really similar in style to the MAC Wonder Woman collection; they're the same size and the wands are the same.

These glosses can be found at Walmart and they're $5 each. I often find that Hard Candy products tend to be hit or miss for me. I either love the products to death or I think they're awful. I love the normal Glossaholic glosses and if I could rewind, I'd buy two more of those instead of these two.

Hard Candy Fox In A Box Review

This is going to be a review on the Hard Candy Fox In A Box Bronzing Duos and Blushing Quads. I flipped out when I saw these because they were so cute looking! That, and they reminded me of the Benefit Boxed Powders. I ended up buying every single one. You can find Hard Candy products at Walmarts. These duos and quads each cost $6.

Of course, I bought them, used them a couple of times, and then promptly forgot about them. This seems to happen a lot. I buy all sorts of stuff and then continue using my old favorites. I apologize that this review took sooooo long for me to get to. :/
